dental faucet
The new dental faucet combines clean, elegant design with innovative functionality. The entire faucet can be detached from the water connections using a plug-in connection, allowing it to be sterilized quickly and easily.
A sophisticated internal valve system allows the faucet to be removed and reattached cleanly.
A ball nozzle is also integrated on one side, allowing the water jet to be aligned precisely for rinsing. ID DESIGN was responsible for the design, technical concept and complete engineering through to manufacturing support.

Design
Several technical requirements had to be considered when designing the new water unit. On the one hand, manufacturability had to be taken into account; on the other, ease of use and sterilizability were key requirements.
In addition to the technical requirements, the new faucet also had to reflect the elegance of the other Ultradent products in its design.
Technology
As can be seen in this sectional view, a valve system was integrated into the faucet. This valve system allows the faucet to be pulled off the precisely fitting supply tubes without any locking mechanism so that it can then be sterilized.
The ball valve serves both to prevent water from flowing back through the faucet during operation and to ensure clean removal without water leakage.
