Monitor support arm
Prototyping and validation Monitor support arm by Tragfreund is used in operating rooms. The system was developed to provide clean cable management for monitors from 19 to 32 inches.
The injection-molded covers can be removed from the welded support arm so that cables can be routed easily and neatly. Following the research phase, the large cover was dimensioned so that it can conceal the connections of all common monitor types.

Application
The monitor support arm we developed solves the hygiene problem around monitor connections in the operating room. The current situation in operating rooms is that there is no universal solution for this issue, and each hospital resorts to improvised cable ties and films to keep cables as tidy as possible.
Our solution cleanly covers all connections and cables for monitors of different sizes while keeping them easily accessible.
