S-BOON Spineboard
The Spineboard by Ultramedic was conceptualized, designed, engineered and optimized for series production by ID DESIGN.
It is primarily used for lifting and transferring patients with severe head and spinal injuries.

Structure
Its construction provides very high stability and supports patients weighing up to 220 kg. It is lightweight, flat, buoyant, and suitable for X-ray and MRI applications.
The combination of low weight and high stability was achieved through a blow-molded design with an integrated carbon stringer.
Application
The Spineboard was designed for emergency use and complies with DIN 1865. Its form was designed so that the handles remain easy to grip with gloves even when the board is lying flat. The same applies to the belt attachment points, which are particularly well protected due to their distance from the floor.
A matching head immobilizer was developed for the Spineboard and can be attached to the head end of the board.
