Head Immobiliser
Prototyping and validation Head immobilizer by Ultramedic is used in emergency medicine to stabilize the cervical spine and the head of a patient during transport.
The adjustment mechanism, with an easy way to release and reposition the side elements, ensures rapid head stabilization even under difficult conditions.

Function
The head immobilizer was designed for operation that is as intuitive and error-free as possible.
The two side elements are removable so that the patient's head can be positioned optimally. The side elements can then be slid back into place with one movement and secured by a locking mechanism.
The head can additionally be secured using a hook-and-loop strap system. Replaceable foam pads and easy-care materials allow simple cleaning and disinfection after heavy contamination.
The product is suitable for X-ray, MRI and CT applications.
