The height-adjustable patient table from a renowned manufacturer in the rescue sector was developed to make emergency operations more effective and make everyday work easier for rescue personnel. The stretcher is equipped with a hydraulic unit that enables safe and comfortable loading and unloading in the ambulance.

A special feature of this development is that the patient table can be converted into a chair position so that patients can be transported while seated. In this chair position, the table can also be shortened enough to fit into very small elevators, giving emergency personnel a new option for transporting people out of their homes.

ID DESIGN was involved in this project from the analysis and early concept phase. In close cooperation with the client and all participating suppliers, the new transport device and patient table were conceptualized, designed and engineered through to prototype production.
