Voltage detector for occupational safety
Prototyping and validation PHE4 voltage detector by DEHN is used to safely verify high-voltage lines before maintenance or repair work.
We developed the formal design of the PHE4 and engineered it for manufacturing in close cooperation with DEHN. Because this product can ultimately be critical to human life, particularly stringent requirements applied to safety and manufacturing quality.

Application
The voltage detector provides both visual and acoustic indication of whether a high-voltage line can be touched safely or whether it is still live. Thanks to its modularity, it can be fitted with different measuring tips to cover a range of application scenarios. The robust device was designed for safe and easy operation in all weather conditions, even when wearing thick gloves.
