Thedigital pedestrian guidance systemby Stuttgart-Marketing GmbH in Stuttgart city center is a georeferenced system that brings traditional signposts into the digital age using 360° rotation mechanisms and high-resolution LED display technology. Information about changing events and attractions can be centrally controlled and updated at any time – the signs can change direction using rotary motors and point directly to the event location.

For this project, ID DESIGN was responsible for the graphic presentation of the variable content on the integrated LED displays. Taking the technical characteristics of LED technology into account, we developed a graphic layout that provides maximum information content while maintaining excellent readability.

We also supported Stuttgart-Marketing GmbH in preparing the guidance system for market launch using digital visualization and animation methods.
