For Millutensil's 60th company anniversary, ID DESIGN was given the opportunity to redesign two product ranges within the portfolio. We created a design system that can be applied to machines of different sizes and, for the first time, provides the Millutensil brand with a consistent and distinctive visual identity.
The BV 30 spotting press from the 'Blue Line' product range is one of the smaller presses and was the first product we implemented.

Design
For a defined technical volume, we developed a design concept that represents Millutensil's corporate values and makes the high quality of the machines immediately tangible.
Usability, ergonomics and a clear product language were just as important as technical feasibility and simplified housing assembly.
Mechanical Engineering
During the engineering phase, ID DESIGN was responsible for the exterior geometry and provided consulting support during manufacturing. In close cooperation with Millutensil's engineers, the enclosure was defined down to the last detail.
Implementation
Following the design and engineering phase, prototypes and exhibition models were built according to our engineering specifications.
The series-ready machines with their completely renewed appearance are selling excellently and form the basis for a successful future for the Millutensil brand.
